2.1 Account Information
When you create a SmartWorm account, we collect information you provide directly, such as:

2.2 Location Information
With your permission, we collect location data to provide core features of the Service, including:Approximate or precise device location (used to fetch accurate local weather forecasts and to associate livestock records with farm locations). Farm address or coordinates you manually enter. You can disable location permissions at any time through your device settings. Some features may not work without location access.

2.3 Farm and Livestock Data
To help you manage livestock health and parasite control, we collect and store information you enter into the App, including:
Livestock records (e.g. flock or herd size, animal IDs, breed, age, weight)
Health, treatment, and dosing records, Faecal egg count results and related diagnostic data
Grazing, paddock, and field information
Notes, photos, and other content you upload

This data belongs to you. We process it on your behalf to deliver the Service.

2.4 Technical and Device Information
We automatically collect certain technical information when you use the App, including:
Device model, operating system, and OS version
App version and language settings

2.5 Push Notification Tokens
When you enable push notifications, we collect and store a unique device token issued by your device's operating system (Apple Push Notification service or Firebase Cloud Messaging). This token allows us to deliver notifications to your device but does not identify you personally on its own.

If you contact us via email, support forms, or video calls, we retain the contents of those communications along with your contact details.

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Weather Data Providers
To deliver accurate local weather forecasts, SmartWorm sends your approximate location (such as coordinates or region) to one or more of the following national weather services, depending on your country:
Met Éireann (Ireland)
MetService (New Zealand)
SMHI (Sweden)
Bureau of Meteorology (Australia)
Met Office (United Kingdom)

We do not share your name, account details, or farm records with these providers — only the information required to return a forecast for your area.

5.2 Zoom
We use the Zoom API to enable video consultations and support calls. When you join a call, Zoom may collect information such as your name, email, IP address, device information, and meeting metadata in accordance with Zoom's own privacy policy (https://zoom.us/privacy).

5.3 Push Notification Services
We use Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and/or Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver push notifications. These services receive the device token and the notification payload required to deliver the message to your device.

6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal data. We only share information in the following circumstances:

With service providers who help us operate the App (such as hosting, analytics, push notification delivery, and the providers listed above), bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

With your consent, for example if you choose to share data with an advisor, vet, or third party.

For legal reasons, where we are required to disclose information to comply with applicable law, legal process, or a valid government request.

In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
